Winged Aviation is a premier
steel and aluminium stockholder based in the heart of England.
Our aim is to provide a cross section of products to the
airframe, military weaponry, aircraft seating and motor racing
industries.
Having commenced trading at
the beginning of January 1998, our main business development has
been in American grades of material, all to aircraft standards.
In addition to Westland SQA50 received in 1998, we were awarded
ISO9002: 1994, SBAC TS157, AS9100 in February 2001 and more
recently BS EN 9001:2000 and EN9001:2003 as well as EN9104 and
AS9100. We also have numerous in house approvals which include
BAe Systems Regional & Military, Smiths Aerospace Actuation
Systems, Westland SQA50, Claverham, B&N (Aircraft
Manufacturers), Premium Aircraft Seating. This ensures you of
our company’s commitment to continually provide the necessary
traceability and quality control for the foreseeable future.
We are proud of the fact
that we hold one of the largest ranges of alloy 4130 in sheet;
normalised or annealed, over 130 sizes of tubing and a full
range of bar, all to aircraft standards. Additionally, we hold
substantial stocks of 6061-T6 sheet, plate, bar and tube along
with 2024 Aluminium sheet, 301 stainless steel sheet and we are
the exclusive distributor of BS-T45.
Specialising in imports of
steel and aluminium products enables our company to provide an
efficient and yet cost effective airfreight system from America
with turnarounds of between three and five working days.
Our success to date is the
result of its founder members’ true dedication to providing a
product base on which customers can rely. Our continued
commitment to provide a stock base to meet the customers’
ever-changing needs has proven to be the most important part of
our growth to date.
