It has been sometime since we last wrote to our customers and in
light of some recent changes effecting our company thought this
would be a good opportunity to let you in on what has been
happening.
We are proud to advise that of the 29th May 2009, we were
awarded Airbus SAS approval for the supply of ferrous tubing,
which whilst we believe is a great start in the right direction,
know that there are many more opportunities in the future on
other materials
You will know that we source from reputable sources from all
over the world and the majority of the manufacturers that are
used, are in fact fully aircraft approved.
Consequently we believe that we could be of some assistance
where your requirements are for American aircraft specifications
requiring Airbus approval.
In addition, we can also supply T45, T53, T60, T64, T77, which
will all come with Airbus SAS approval, so welcome the
opportunity of submitting quotes to those that need the release,
along with BAE Military, BAE Regional and AugustaWestlands
approvals if so required.
Another very significant step in improving our ability to
support programmes, we recently signed an agreement for the
supply of Titanium products to AMS and TA standards through our
partners in China.
The manufacturers have ISO9001: 2008 along with approvals such
as Boeing, Airbus and Rolls Royce but this mainly applies to
sheet and plate at the moment.
Every one is aware, I’m sure, of the cost benefits in purchasing
Titanium from China and what is even more important to make you
aware of is that delivery can be as little as 6 weeks for sheet
and plate and 2-3 weeks for bar, plus airfreight or seafreight.
We will be carrying a small range of bar, sheet and plate here
at our Northampton facility, in the next week or so and we have
tested some of the materials to ensure the they meet the
exacting standards required along with Tests certificates from
the manufacturers and we would happily have additional tests
carried out if so required.
This is a proven route to a number of customers already and we
can offer these customers as references if so required. |
